My friend, Mary Lynn, gave me the privilege of photographing her two grandgirls recently. 

We found a pretty location late one afternoon and started shooting.

These two are not only first cousins, but good friends...

Paige is a spunky nine year old...

with such a fun smile...

Mara is a typical 13 year old...silly...

and fashionable...

These two can have fun together wherever they go...

...even in the ornamental grass!

Quite possibly my favorite of the day...
