I think this will make a good comparison of Photoshop effects. So here is a "before" which has some shadowing on Miss Subject's face.
When I learn how to use PSE, we'll see if I can remedy that.  Stay tuned...

colored glass

I've always loved colored glass. These old bottles sit on the potting table by our back door and I can see their pretty colors from the breakfast room window as well as every time I go in and out the door. I put them on the hot tub for this shot so the light could do its thing on/through them.

I took this picture at the Houston Zoo on a photography field trip. As long as I've loved giraffes, I never knew they groomed each other. Looks like it feels pretty good from the smile on his/her face!
